With August 2026 obligations approaching, the group needed a defensible classification of every AI system touching EU subjects. We inventoried 23 in-scope systems, classified each against EU AI Act risk tiers, and produced the conformity-assessment plan for the three high-risk systems identified.

The group had built an agentic pilot that was approving supply-chain actions outside the guardrails finance expected. We designed the human-in-the-loop architecture, decision-authority matrix, and audit trail that kept autonomy where it was safe and mandated human approval where it was not.
